This signature event of Bahria University Islamabad is organised by Bahrian’s Association of Computer Students And Professionals – BACSAP every six months. GT attracts gamers from all over Pakistan and the gamers “push hard” to win tens of thousands rupees in prize money. This time, because of security issues in the capital, teams from Peshawar, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi & Topi had participated.
GT 09 kicked off at 09 am with FiFa 09, Takken 5, Medal of Honor and Need For Speed. There were lot of spectators who had come to cheer their favourite teams. The organiser had also installed open projectors at different places in the new campus building so that the spectator could follow the games and support their favourite teams!
Need For Speed final was played between UET Peshawar and Bahria University Islamabad. The 3-lap final was won by UET Peshawar. The most interesting final match was played between UET Peshawar and Bahria University for FIFA 09. UET team won the game but Bahria University’s performance was also appreciated.
