Bahria University Islamabad Campus bagged another victory today at “Made From Scrap” competition which was one of the core most events here at LUMS IEEE Week 2010! Bahria Team took the third prize and was able to beat one of the top tech teams from UET Lahore, LUMS.
Team from Bahria, which included Shahrukh, Saad-ul-Hassan & Faiz Aman, had made a complicated tech gizmo using which a spaceship could be placed in a right orbit!

Pakistan’s upcoming rock band Qayaas, that has been creating waves all over Pakistan, will be performing live and unplugged at Bahria University Islamabad Campus on 15th December 2009 @ 12 pm! All the rockers enter free and venue is New Cafe!
This is their first ever performance at Bahria University.

Five Students were pointed out by the Rector during his “surprise” visit of classes. Also, the director is of the view that students without proper “student kit” should not be allowed to sit in the class.
The University authorities have issued a notice in which they have said that no student shall be allowed to sit in the class room without notebook, books, pen and laptop!

Student Resource Center’s (SRC) team is working on the it’s newsletter which is expected to roll out in few weeks! It is for the first time in the last two years that a student body from Bahria University Islamabad Campus will be launching a newsletter.
A meeting of “newsletter team” was held on Saturday and this meeting was chaired by the Program Officer Mrs Khola Shiraz.
SRC has a dedicated team working on this project but non-club students of Bahria University Islamabad Campus can also submit articles.

Bahria Developers Community is organizing a two-part seminar on “Idea for Final Year Projects” on 9th December at 11:15 am.
The theme of the seminar is to the students stimulate ideas for their final year projects as well as giving them guidelines on all aspects of the process.
The first part of the seminar would focus on Software and simple Hardware Projects while the second part would discuss Electronics and Telecom related projects.
