X-news! More than 40 students of BEE-5 A and B section went to an Industrial trip to “Daewoo Electronics”. The trip was arranged by the university for the Power Electronics students. Students observed the process of Chip Circuit Building for devices of a famous brand PEL. The process includes the circuit making, assembly program burn process, maintenance and testing.

X-news! Marketing exposure “Creative Battle” to be held for BBA and MBA students from 1pm to 5pm in auditorium tomorrow! Creative Battle is a competition among four sections of Business Students of Bahria. Judges will be from the senior faculty of MBA.

USEFP offers opportunities to study for a semester or a year in USA. Students will receive academic credits but not a degree. Forms are available for download at: www. usefpakistan.org/nesa.html
Students have to submit forms in Student Affairs office. Last date for registration is 31 December 2009.

Rector of Bahria University visited the library of Bahria University Islamabad Campus today. He was furious at the staff as the library records were not well maintained. The rector also asked a female student about the availibilty of books in the library.

Library staff snatched cell phone of a student as it rang in the library. Student (from BBA 2) was fined and his phone taken away for some time. Student paid the fine but was furious at librarian who read TEXT messages without his permission!
Bahria University Islamabad Campus’ library staff are “disliked” by many students and students have been complaining about their rude attitude from time to time by administration has failed to take any action.

Pakistan’s upcoming rock band Qayaas, that has been creating waves all over Pakistan, will be performing live and unplugged at Bahria University Islamabad Campus on 15th December 2009 @ 12 pm! All the rockers enter free and venue is New Cafe!
This is their first ever performance at Bahria University.

The over hyped lecture by renowned Pakistani Prof. Pervaiz Ali Hoodbhouy was not a big success among the students as many students were found sleeping during his lecture in the auditorium today!
Some faculty members were also found dozing off during his talk!
