X-news will be ”hunting” Bahrians who have excelled in “any” field. X-news team has complied a list of Bahria University students who have made a difference in the society or who have accomplished “something” on national or international level.

SRC is also compiling a similar list.

“special” hostel by a Bahrian

A student of Bahria University Islamabad Campus has opened a “special” hostel which is “affordable for students”. Student told X-News team that he was disappointed to see his friends and classfellows living in low quality hostels …but paying huge sums. So he decided to turn his house in sector F 10/3 into a hostel where he’d “charge minimun and provide maximum” benefit for the students.

BACSAP on “Talent Hunt”!

Bahrians’ Association of Computer Students And Professionals is hiring students with dynamic skills. BACSAP Chairman Salman Zafar told X-news that BACSAP is currently preparing for its annual event - Bits, Bytes & Colors ‘09 which is the biggest event at the Bahria University Islamabad. When asked about the date of the event, Mr. Salman refrained from giving any exact date but told X-news that Bits, Bytes & Colors ‘09 will “hit Uni” in October.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) training

For the first time in Bahria University’s history, BACSAP is organising a must attend Cisco Certified Network (CCNA)
training. This course is specially designed for students and professionals. The classes will commence from Monday
13th July 2009. There are limited seats available. Contact BACSAP Office for the registeration.

Class Details:

  • Total 35 hours of training except for the practical session.
  • 3 classes in a week.
  • Each student have to pay 3000 Rs

Class Timings:

  • Monday: 12:15 to 02:15 (NC-9)
  • Wednesday: 12:15 to 02:15 (NC-9)
  • Friday timing still to decide
