X-news! Marketing exposure “Creative Battle” to be held for BBA and MBA students from 1pm to 5pm in auditorium tomorrow! Creative Battle is a competition among four sections of Business Students of Bahria. Judges will be from the senior faculty of MBA.

An X-Bahrian who is currently doing his second masters from Melbourne Australia after completing his MBA from Bahria University saved a kid’s life!

Saud Sahi, who was also the General Secretary of BACSAP, risked his life to save a little kid who got stuck in the train’s automatic door. According to reports, there were about 25 to 30 people in that compartment of train but he was the first one to rescue the little kid.  Saud pulled the automatic door so that the kid could be set free. Saud received minor injuries but he saved the kid’s life! Aussie praised him by giving him a huge round of applause and “You Are A  LEGEND” title was also awarded to him.

The whole X-news team is proud of Saud and we wish him best of luck.

Career office is organising the biggest Job Fair in the history of Bahria University on the 16th May 2009! The top bands like Ufone, Mobilink, Warid, Bright Spyre, Pearl Continental, Marriott, Royal Bank of Scotland, Geo TV, Serena Hotel, Schlumberger,  Linkdot Net, Elixir Technologies, Zong, Zte, TouchStone and many others will be hunting for the brightest mind of Bahria.  The companies are looking for young and energetic fresh graduates from Bahria. Management department is excited about the job fair and MBA and BBA final year students are hoping the they will get “through” during the on-spot hiring!

Sports Week Continues!

BBA 6-B Morning team won the 2 day inter-Bahria cricket tournament. The cricket tournament was organized by BBA 6 students.

In another match, MBA Finance thrashed MBA Marketing in a friendly football match here in the F6 sports ground. The football match started at aound 11 pm but there was a “sporty atmoshpere”. Both the teams were in good shape and had equal supports in the ground.  MBA Finance took the initial lead and maintained it till the end.  The MBA finance team crushed the MBA Marketing team and the final score was 10 – 2!!!
