FAST Lahore was able to lift the spirit of participants who were let down by the poor management of LUMS IEEE Branch. This event, which was herald by LUMS as the “biggest ever”, was poorly received by the participants and the visitors alike. The week long event’s second half was scheduled at FAST, Lahore. The IEEE Branch of FAST was able to create a buzz in students and lift the spirit of participants. The Campus of FAST was decorated with banners and posters, all the events started on schedule and above all, FAST was able to provide “IEEE” environment!

Course drop date has been “Extended” till 29th December. Most of the students dropping courses are from Engineering Department. According to an estimate, about 60% of the drop forms have been submitted by the Engineering students.

Two boys of BBA semester 2, followed a female friend to girl’s toilet. According to these students, they were “just joking around” but other female students who were already in the toilet complaint about these intruders with the university admin.

The administration didn’t take any action which is “shocking”.

Rector of Bahria University visited the library of Bahria University Islamabad Campus today. He was furious at the staff as the library records were not well maintained. The rector also asked a female student about the availibilty  of books in the library.

Due date of fee submission of fall semester 2009 is September 10th, 2009. Students will be fined a sum of rupees 250 after this date! So hurry up, pay tens of thousands of rupees as your fee to save 250!

Close Circuit Television Cameras (CCTVs) have been installed in and around Bahria Univeristy.  These measures have been taken by the authorities to “secure” the campus. Cameras will be centrally controlled and each camera will store a 30-day data.
