In the search for excellence and professional commitment to the computing and information technology fields, The Executive Council of Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE), the Honor Society for Computing Sciences, and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) announce the UPE ACM STUDENT CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP AWARD. Up to two students will be chosen; each will receive $1,000 and a certificate of commendation.

A group of ex-Bahrians visited Bahria University Islamabad Campus today. They also visited classes and shared their work experience. Ex-Bahrians guided students on different industrial trend and told the students that if they want to excel in computer sciences then they should focus and master programing skills!

The group was accompanied by the HOD Mr. Jahanzeb Ahmed.

Dr. Pervez Amir Ali Hoodbhouy, Professor Department of Physics, Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad considered an authority on the many subjects has kindly agreed to give a talk on “Terrorism & its Devastating Effects on the Pakistani Nation” on 3rd of December, 2009 at 11:00 hours. Students of the BBA and MBA shall form part of the main audience, while those in the other disciplines may also attend. The venue shall be the BU auditorium.

Bahria University’s over hyped security failed to stop a student who was trying to enter the Islamabad Campus! According to reports, a student, who didn’t have Bahria student ID card, was stopped at the gate by two guards. The student rushed towards the gate and was able to break in! Four guards chased him all over the campus but were unable to catch him!

Is this what they call “foolproof security Security”?
